The ALGC is a forum in which graduate students explore and discuss critical and post-structuralist approaches to global politics. The colloquium provides a friendly environment for students to present their ideas and receive feedback from other students and scholars in the field, as well as to engage in some lively debates about the future of critical scholarship. The ALGC is organised by students and for students with the support of academic staff.

In 2012, the 10th version of the colloquium will be hosted by The Emerging Securities Unit at Keele University. We are inviting abstracts of individual papers as well of panels of three to four papers on any area of critical and post-structuralist approaches to global politics. To facilitate full discussion, papers of between 4,000 and 6,000 words will be circulated in advance. Those attending will be expected to have read the papers.

Abstracts of no more than 250 words must be sent to Corey Walker-Mortimer no later than 1 March 2012 at the following address: c.b.walker-mortimer@ilpj.keele.ac.uk

Papers from first year research students engaged in empirically informed theoretical practice within the general field of Politics and International Relations are especially encouraged.

There will be no registration fees but participants must fund their own attendance.

Please contact Corey Walker-Mortimer if you have any questions.
